The Memory, Commemoration and Uses of the Past research cluster, within the Centre for Advanced Studies in Languages and Cultures invites you to a public lecture in the Council Room this Friday at 3pm, as part of Cork Discovers:

Maria Cristina Fumagalli is Professor of Literature, Film and Theatre Studies at the University of Essex, specialising in literatures and visual cultures of the Caribbean. Dr Bridget Wooding is the head of the Caribbean Migration and Development Observatory in Santo Domingo.
