Registration with Disability Support Service

Needs Assessment Appointments for First Year Students

All students with a disability in UCC have the opportunity to receive supports. To receive these supports students are invited to register with the Disability Support Service and to meet with an Advisor to carry out an assessment of needs. This involves discussing some background information, looking at the demands of your course and deciding if reasonable accommodations and supports are required. Appointments can be in person or on the phone.

Students who are offered a place through the CAO and DARE will be contacted in August/Early September with a date and more information about a needs assessment appointment.

If you did not make a DARE application or you are an International Student, a Mature Student or FETAC Student, please make contact directly with the Disability Support Service and request a needs assessment appointment. disabilitysupport@ucc.ie
