Visiting Speaker Series

Visiting Speaker Series

"My favourite aspect of the course was the guest speakers from various organisations who gave us an indepth insight into international organisations."

An integral part of the MSc International Public Policy and Diplomacy programme is the Visiting Speaker Series which attracts‎‎ a range of high profile speakers from a number of policy backgrounds.

In a relatively informal setting, speakers reflect on their experiences and the contemporary global policy challenges they face. Each lecture ends with a Q&A session giving our students a chance to interact with current and former policymakers, politicians and diplomats and bringing an extra depth of understanding to the topics covered in the course modules.

While the Visiting Speaker Series is run as part of the MSc International Public Policy and Diplomacy the lectures are open to the public. If you are considering applying for the programme you are particularly encouraged to join us.

The Visiting Speaker Series takes place every Wednesday of term at 4.00pm in G19, Aras na Laoi, unless otherwise advertised.

The Visiting Speakers series will also be announced through Twitter.
