Learning Analytics LITE

The Learning Analytics LITE project strives to enhance the design, development, and implementation of teaching to enable students to reach their full potential. It will do this through analysing both engagement and performance data across a variety of disciplines. It aims to develop examples of best practice on the use of learning analytics in teaching and learning. A UCC Community of Practice will develop as part of this process.

Supported under the Strategic Alignment of Teaching and Learning Enhancement (SATLE) fund, this initiative is managed by the Centre for Digital Education.

At the start of April 2021, four applicants from each of the respective colleges in UCC were awarded funding as part of this project. They will be working closely with the CDE, Research Support Officer - Michelle Donovan. The project runs until March 2022. A large body of work will be carried out over the next two semesters to help explore this topic in more detail in UCC.

We hope to publish case studies from each of the four diciplines and training will be provided to staff, based on the outcomes of these. For more information on this initiative, please contact mdonovan@ucc.ie
