Learning Analytics LITE
Applications are invited from staff to avail of funded support for a Learning Analytics pilot in University College Cork. Funded under the Strategic Alignment of Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund (SATLE), this initiative is managed by the Centre for Digital Education.
The Learning Analytics LITE project strives to enhance the design, development, and implementation of teaching to enable students to reach their full potential. It will do this through analysing both engagement and performance data across a variety of disciplines. Its aim is to develop examples of best practice on the use of learning analytics in learning and teaching and to foster a community of practice on the application of learning analytics to teaching and learning.
A maximum of six applications will be supported under this call. Following a competitive process based on this call for applications, the CDE will approve funding to support learning analytics initiatives to be implemented institutionally. Successful applicants will be supported by a Research Support Officer in the Centre for Digital Education to analyse data from a range of online platforms, such as Canvas, Panopto and Teams.
