UCC has been very Successful in the HEA's recent Springboard+ Call

UCC has been very successful in the HEA's recent Springboard+ Call for Proposals and has secured funding to offer 172 places on eight part-time programmes (level 7 to 9) across all four Colleges.

Follwoing the official launch of Springboard+ 2018 on the 4th June by Ministers Bruton and Halligan, the following UCC programmes are now open for applications at

  • Certificate in Management Practice (level 7) (*subject to final academic approval)
  • Certificate in Operator Development (Pharma Manufacturing) (level 7)
  • Certificate in Process and Chemical Engineering (level 7)
  • Certificate in Procurement Management (level 8)
  • Higher Diploma in Advanced Languages and Global Communication (level 8)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Project Management (level 9)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in (Bio) Pharma Processing (level 9)
  • MA in Digital Arts and Humanities (level 9)

Springboard+ has been opened to a wider cohort of applicants this year and its three categories of applicant now include:

  • Jobseekers (unemployed / formerly self-employed) - 100% fee subsidy
  • Returners (homemakers, carers, etc.)  - 100% fee subsidy
  • People in employment (any sector) - 90% fee subsidy, 10% fee payable to UCC
