Outline

Students are encouraged to attend to update their knowledge and skills in this area for the upcoming  IRFU season.

 

Course content includes certification for the Irish Heart Foundation/American Heart Association Heartsaver AED Course and specific topics including concussion, spinal management, packaging/moving the injured player, fractures and matchday preparation.

There is an emphasis on practical tasks with skills stations and rapid practice scenarios making up most of the course.
