Ship finance is an area for potential development of the Irish financial services. Ireland is renowned for its leasing assets and has developed an aircraft leasing specialisation. It also offers undeniable opportunities for shipping groups, including the attractive Irish Tonnage Tax. Aimed at the Shipping and Finance industries, this course on the Law of Ship Finance includes:
- An overview of the ship finance sector
- The various financing alternatives (lending principles, ship mortgage, security and enforcement)
- Tonnage tax
It provides the tools to put in place the corect finance structures for profitable ventures and to identify and manage liabilities.
This course is for shipping executives, charterers, ship brokers, lending bankers, risk advisors, in-house counsels in banks, shipping companies, private practitioners and postgraduate students.
