Radiography
MSc DIAGNOSTIC RADIOGRAPHY

Welcome to the MSc Diagnostic Radiography programme at UCC
The MSc Diagnostic Radiography offers an accelerated route for graduates from any health science or science related discipline to gain a recognised qualification in Diagnostic radiography. This postgraduate course will prepare graduates for success in a competitive jobs market. This programme represents a unique model of partnership between UCC and the HSE South South West Hospital Group (SSWHG). Some students may receive sponsorship covering part of their fees for each year of the programme in return for a commitment to work within the HSE SSWHG for a two-year period post graduation.
Practice education is an integral component of the programme. Students are required to undertake clinical placement. Clinical placements will mostly take place in the hospitals of the South /South West Hospital Group (SSWHG), some private centres and other centres nationally. Students may also have the option to undertake a short-term elective placement abroad. Students will need to travel and/or arrange accommodation near the placement sites and will incur the costs of travel and accommodation to any clinical locations.
