Understanding - Climate Science and Observations

Research in this area focuses on the physical scientific aspects of climate change to improve our understanding of the climate system. The main topics include changes in greenhouse gases and aaerosols in the atmosphere; observed changes in air, land and ocean temperatures, rainfall, oceans and sea level; paleoclimatic perspective on climate change; satellite data and other data; climate projections, causes and attributon of climate change.
