Cosetta Cadau


I graduated in Classics at the University of Cagliari, Italy; I then obtained a MLitt in Classics from Trinity College Dublin. My PhD on Late Antique poet Colluthus was awarded by TCD in 2014.  Before joining University College Cork, I taught Classics and ancient languages at University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, and King's College London.

Research Interests:

Greek and Latin literature of all periods, particularly of the Hellenistic and Imperial time.

Late antique literature, history and social culture, especially poetry.

The transition from paganism to Christianity in the period between Constantine and Justinian.

Hellenistic and Imperial epigram.
