Supported by the Arts Council of Ireland the group of 27 participating teenagers, aged between 13-18 years, created risograph prints under the guidance of artist Shane O’Driscoll.

An evening of audio samples from the oral history and folklore recordings of the Cork Folklore Project, focusing on the community memories documented by the group over many years. Native Scientist - Portuguese

In partnership with Native ScientistAPC Microbiome Ireland are organising a fun science workshop for children aged 6-12 years who speak some Portuguese at home. Click here for the Event Page on Facebook 

In this workshop, scientists from Portugal and Brazil will meet young people in the community for a science workshop in the Portuguese language. This workshop is a great opportunity for kids to practice their language skills and develop their interest in science.

The workshop is suitable for children aged 6 to 12 years who speak some Portuguese at home. Children should be accompanied by a parent/guardian who must stay for the duration of the workshop. This is a free event, but registration is required - please complete this form.
