Staff and Student Well-Being
The School of Chemistry is committed to supporting the well-being of our staff and students. The University and the School have a number of structures and policies in place to support the well-being of our staff and our students.
For our students, we are aware that there are many aspects which influence student well-being, and we recognise that sometimes students may experience difficulties outside the University which affect their University life, particularly their studies. For our staff, workplace well-being is important because workplaces directly influence the physical, mental, economic and social well-being of workers and in turn, the health of their families, communities and society.
The School of Chemistry is an Athena SWAN Bronze award holder, receiving the award in April 2018.
