Paola completed a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition at Universidade Metodista de Sao Paulo, undertaking an industrial internship at Itau CEIC in Sao Paulo; followed by an internship in public health research and clinic at a major hospital in Brazil, Instituto Dante Pazzanese de Cardiologia; and a clinical internship including consultations and intensive care at Hospital Santa Cruz in Sao Paulo. Paola then opened her own practice involving consultations, sports nutrition and industrial food handling manuals. Broadening her horizons, she undertook a Masters of Business Administration in Project Management at Universidade Municipal de Sao Caetano do Sul. Following this, she completed a Masters of Science in Molecular Cell Biology with Bioinnovation at UCC.
