Credit Union Summer School, April 1st 2011, UCC

The annual UCC Credit Union Summer School took place on Friday 1st April 2011. The theme of this year’s event was ‘Credit Union Stabilisation and Liquidity’ and featured Prof. Donal McKillop of Queen’s University Belfast, David Kielty of the Central Bank, Kevin Johnston, CEO of the Credit Union Development Association and Mark Bailey, President of the Irish League of Credit Unions.

The powerpoint slides used by Donal and by Mark can be downloaded below. If you missed this event, we are organising another credit union event on the 7th May 2011, here in UCC, in association with the National Supervisors’ Forum. The event will feature talks in internal auditing, whistleblower protection and social and financial performance measurement in credit unions. Updates will be posted here.
