On Sunday, 8 November, there will be a screening of 'Yo Cambio | I Change' in the Gate Cinema at 4pm as part of the Cork Film Festival.
This is a world premiere of a new documentary from a Cork-based production company, KMF Productions. The film looks at efforts to reform the prison reform in El Salvador particularly the Yo Cambio program. A panel discussion on prisons will follow the screening – speakers will be Peadar King (Yo Cambio producer), Dr Fiona Donson (UCC School of Law), Patrick Dawson (Governor, Cork Prison) and Deirdre Malone (Exec Director
Irish Penal Reform Trust). Colm O’Callaghan, of RTÉ will be the discussion moderator.
