On February 28th 2008 Professor Kristian Miccio will present a seminar entitled ‘Male Intimate Violence: Lessons from the Castle Rock Case”. The seminar will take place in AL1, Aras na Laoi, UCC from 4-6pm.
Professor Miccio is an Associate Professor in the University of Denver and will be a Fulbright Scholar in University College Dublin in 2008. She is a graduate of Antioch School of Law and Columbia University and has published and spoken widely in the area of male intimate violence. She is the founding director and first attorney-in-charge of the Center For Battered Women’s Legal Services of Sanctuary For Families, the first legal services center in New York State and the largest center in the United States.
