Internships offer a great opportunity to get some experience of the working world, preferably in an area in which you want to work, or something closely related. They provide the opportunity to learn how their studies can apply in a professional setting and it’s an important part of building a core of experience that can help you in identifying or choosing your career path. Between Tues 26th January and Thurs 4th February some of Ireland top employers will be delivering bespoke webinars for UCC students. The webinars will focus on Summer Internship opportunities and our Employer Q&A panels will give you an opportunity to learn more about how to make your application stand out from the crowd.

Every year, the Court of Justice of the European Union offers a limited number of paid traineeships in the chambers of Members of the Court of Justice and the General Court and in the administrative departments of the Court.
Join us for a webinar and Q&A with staff from CJEU to hear about the programme and the application process. We will be joined by members of both the Irish language team and the English language legal-translation unit
There are two traineeship periods:
From 1 March to 31 July (applications to be made between 1 July and 15 September of each year)
From 16 September to 15 February for the traineeships in the Members' chambers and 1 October to 28 February for the traineeships in the administrative departments (applications to be made between 1 February and 15 April of each year)

The programme aims to give you an idea of what it is like to work as a trainee at the Maples Group in Dublin and is the primary recruitment process for future traineeships, providing an excellent platform for those interested in securing a training contract.
