Currently there are no available positions for the PhD Scholars Programme in Cancer Biology at UCC. Interested applicants are invited to contact our Programme Investigators for independently-funded PhD opportunities.
When a future call is announced, successful applicants must possess a primary degree (minimum 2:1 honours or equivalent) in the biological sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, or medicine and should be strongly motivated to complete a PhD in cancer biology.
The application procedure includes submission of a detailed CV, a personal statement including research interests and experience, and contact information for two academic referees by email. Please note that the personal statement is a critical component of the application; it should clearly explain why you have applied for the Programme and your motivation for completing a PhD.
