The talk aims at discussing the shift in perception of self and its place in the reality among Europeans, who are practicing yoga and meditation. The conclusions are based on observation and study of groups practicing yoga and meditation in Bulgaria, Germany and Ireland. Therefore, the talk has two main aspects: to present the reported shift from ego-cantered to whole-cantered perspective and to compare the realisation of this shift in the three countries with different religious background: Orthodox Bulgaria, Protestant part of Germany and Catholic Ireland.
