School of Film, Music and Theatre - Film and Screen Media Department

The events consists in a double-bill screenings of The Eclipse and Estate, a Reverie. The films will be introduced by Anna Viola Sborgi and Paolo Saporito and will be followed by Q&A. On Wednesday (6 April), there will be a virtual discussion with Estate's director Andrea Luka Zimmerman.

The aim of the event is to raise participants’ awareness of the home as a liminal space where existential, social and environmental issues constantly intersect. The event will consist of two connected screenings in two consecutive days (5 and 6 April 2022). Each will include a brief introduction of the film from the organisers, the screening, and a Q&A with the audience at the end of a session. The films selected for this double bill are Estate, a Reverie (Andrea Luka Zimmerman, 2015) and L’eclisse (The Eclipse, Michelangelo Antonioni, 1962).
