Irish Research Council (IRC) Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme 2021
The Irish Research Council have opened the 2021 Call for the Government of Ireland Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme. This scheme offers scholarships for suitably qualified individuals to pursue a postdoctoral degree in any discipline at an eligible HEI within Ireland.

Applicants who wish to avail of an optional application review by a UCC RSS Research Officer should email their applications to patricia.deasy@ucc.ie no later than 3pm, 9th November. Due to the anticipated high number of applications for this call, these reviews will be conducted on a 'first-come-first-served' basis.
Please note: It is imperative that applicants engage with the call documentation, and consult with their UCC Mentor prior to completing the Eligibility Quiz and the Application Form. Once the quiz is complete and submitted, applicants must save before exiting, or they risk being locked out of both the quiz and the application. The Council will not reset the Eligibility Quiz for applicants once it has been submitted and will not entertain appeals.
To ensure UCC endorsement of their application, applicants are asked to notify the UCC Research Support Services (RSS) of their intent to apply for this call ASAP by emailing Patricia Deasy (patricia.deasy@ucc.ie).
