Funding Information
Funding Information
The purpose of this page is to make staff aware of funding opportunities. Much of the material is taken directly from information published by an organisation, e.g. in a website. Information is current at the time of compilation. Full details of grants, awards, etc. are not included as these change over time. Readers should be aware that funding information is time sensitive adn so they should update information themselves by checking with the funding agency.
UCC is a non-profit organisation and the Cork University Foundation is a registered charity (no. 11831) through which funds raised by the activities of the Development Office, UCC, are donated to the University. Many charities in the USA although acknowledging UCC's status as non-profit, will not fund outside that country. In the cases where trusts or foundations state that non-profit or charitable organisations are considered for funding, it would be wise to check before proceeding with any submission.
