Summer School 2017

The College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences in UCC is holding its inaugural Summer School from 12th -16th June, 2017.   The taster lectures offered by the Summer School covers all the subject areas across the College and offers you an opportunity to learn all about worlds and persons, about their cultures and ideas, languages, belief systems and social practices. You will be taught by some of UCC’s top lecturers. University College Cork (UCC) has been named The Sunday Times University of the Year, 2017, for a record-breaking fourth time. Come join us and experience what studying at a world class university will be like! 

The Summer School is free of charge but places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You can register for one or more days.  

Once you have registered, please download the parental/guardian consent form and post to Loretta Brady, College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences, Room G31, O’Rahilly Building, University College Cork, College Road, Cork. When we receive your signed consent form we will email you to confirm your registration. Your registration will not be confirmed until we have received the signed consent form.  

The Summer School is aimed at current Transition and Fifth year students.

There is no fee for the Summer School.
