Western Gateway Building - Upper 2 Floors

This project involves the fit-out of the two upper floors of the Western Gateway Building and the development of additional offices on the top floor. On completion, over 9,500m2 of Life Sciences research laboratories, teaching spaces, offices, a cafe and ancillary research spaces will accommodate 350 researchers and provide 500 teaching spaces.
The Project is being funded by the HEA under PRTLI5 and the Medical Education Reform Programme (MERP).

Contractor - BAM Building.
Constructed in phases from April 2011.
Completed and occupied March 2012.

Phase 2 
Contractor - Walls Construction.
Phased construction commenced November 2014.
Construction completed April 2016.
Occupation scheduled for April - June 2016.
