Research Interests:
- Identification and validation of biomarkers in response to IGF-1R targeted therapies and resistance to combination therapy in ovarian cancer.
- Mechanisms of crosstalk between IGF-1R and other signaling pathways, and their contribution in tumour biology.
- Role of the C-terminal region in the regulation of IGF-1R protein complexes and signal output.
Approach: Molecular and Cell Biology, Biochemistry
Isabel graduated with a PhD in Molecular Cancer Biology from the Cancer Research Centre of Salamanca, Univerisity of Salamanca, and was a member of our laboratory from October 2012 to 2014.
