Outreach activities in the School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology

Outreach Overview
The School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology is actively involved in outreach activities and on an annual basis runs a programme for transition year students, DNA workshops for senior cycle students and participates in the UCC bi-annual Open Days held in Autumn and Spring.
In addition, academic staff in the School provide research experience to undergraduate students, technical experience to technicians working in, for example, the University Malaysia Terengganu and trainee technicians attending Berufsausbildungszentrum Lette-Verein, Berlin, Germany.
The School also provides tours of our facilities to international students, such as the BTS students from La Rochelle and participates in a wide range of industrial and public outreach activities.
