My research interests are focused on the evolution of fossil and extant insects. I am interested in how insects have evolved over geological time in response to climate and environmental change. In addition, I have a great interest in the taxonomy and systematics of fossil and extant members of the insect group Neuropterida (Neuroptera, Raphidioptera, Megaloptera). My current project is on the evolution of colour patterns in the wings of insects through deep time.
