Martin Wall


Martin Wall graduated in 2006 from University College Cork with a degree in History and English. He is currently a fourth year PhD student in the School of History working on a thesis entitled 'Ireland and the European Economic Community: Small States Interests and Influence'. Martin was an IRCHSS Scholar from 2008-2010 and a Erasmus Mobility Scholar from September to December 2009.


He has published on Ireland's approach to regional policies in the European Economic Community in theJournal of the Trinity History Postgraduate Seminar Series ("Half a loaf was better than no bread": Ireland and the creation of the European Regional Development Fund 1974) and on Irish/US relations in the journal Irish Studies in International Affairs(Ireland and the United States 1973-5: New Dynamics in the Transatlantic Relationship)
