Using your own laptop in a classroom

If you want to use your own laptop in a classroom, you need to connect it to the projection system via a VGA or HDMI cable.

Currently all classrooms have a VGA connection, but the HDMI option is only available in some rooms.

Please check in advance which rooms have HDMI connectivity on our Classroom Information page.

For Apple Mac Laptops, please bring an adapter that will connect to HDMI or VGA, this would likely be a USB-C to HDMI adapter or Display Port to HDMI adapter.

Users are responsible for their own cables and adapters. AVMS doesn't supply adapters.
