Michelle O'Riordan

Biography

Michelle is a Research Support Officer currently working with the AUGMENT SFI (Not sure if it can still be called this) Professorship Programme at APC Microbiome Ireland since 2021. She has been instrumental in managing programme operations, coordinating Public and Patient Engagement (PPI) activities, and supporting the submission of major research grants, including EIC, Research Ireland, and HRB applications. Her educational background encompasses a Master's in Counselling, a Higher Diploma in Psychology, and a Bachelor's in Education with 20+ years’ experience in both educational and clinical programme coordination, Michelle has a versatile skill set, having worked in various roles that involved developing and implementing programme strategies, facilitating public engagement, and more recently supporting clinical trials.
