Maryrose Dillon graduated from National University of Ireland Galway in 2002 with a Bachelor of Corporate Law and Legal French degree and an LLB. She also holds a Diploma in Employment Law from UCD. Having trained with William Fry Solicitors in Dublin, Maryrose qualified as a solicitor in 2007, following which she joined the firm’s Employment Department where she worked for seven years advising employers and employees on all aspects of employment law. She has represented clients in cases before statutory tribunals, and in employment-related litigation before the civil courts, including injunction applications. During her ten years with William Fry, she also gained experience in general commercial law, property law, intellectual property and commercial litigation. Maryrose regularly tutors and lectures on the Law Society of Ireland’s Professional Practice Courses and Diploma Programmes.
Maryrose joined UCC Academy DAC in 2015 and advises the company on all legal matters from commercial contracts and compliance issues to workplace policies and employment matters.
