Elaine Harrington joined UCC Academy in March 2022 as a communications project officer at Ireland South Women and Infants Directorate, a network of maternity hospitals including Cork University Maternity Hospital and the maternity units of University Hospital Kerry, University Hospital Waterford and Tipperary University Hospital.

Elaine has worked in Ireland, the UK and Australia, and previously held roles at EMC, Fastnet Recruitment and De Beers Group in London, where she was a communications specialist and brand manager.

She has a degree in marketing from CIT. Elaine’s extensive experience is being used to its fullest in her busy and exciting role providing internal and external communications support to the leadership team at CUMH and beyond.
