Colette Coughlan is a graduate of UCC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Business and a Diploma in Marketing Strategy with Digital marketing from the Irish Management Institute. Colette has extensive experience in the areas of brand development, strategic partnerships, advertising, and media relations within the Consumer goods, Tourism and hospitality Industry working for Unilever, Danone, Diageo and Doyle Collection. She created innovative marketing campaigns for The Guinness Storehouse, recruiting international visitors to the iconic Home of Guinness. An experienced global marketing expert, Colette has delivered award-winning marketing campaigns for HB Ice cream’s brand portfolio within Unilever and more recently “Airbnb’s Night At The Guinness Storehouse” for Diageo.
Colette joined the UCC Academy in 2020 as the International Manager for the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences (CACSSS). In her role, she will promote the brand of UCC and CACSSS in key International markets while developing and executing the International recruitment plan.
