Chief Executive Officer
Arlene Vithaldas is a graduate of UCD with a degree in Business and Law and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. As a PRINCE2 qualified project manager, she has spent much of her career in the design and delivery of complex transformational change. She previously worked with KPMG in Dublin, Sydney and London, ultimately as a Principal Advisor working on change projects for a number of listed global companies. From 2005-2008, she was a Vice President of XL Insurance Group (now part of Axa plc). On her return to Ireland in 2008, she joined the leadership team of Abtran in Cork during a phase of high growth, and led the service development for back office capability. In 2011, she directly supported the CEO of the Clonakilty based company, Southwestern (now owned by Capita) in the set-up of its London office, and led the sale of the company’s first UK government contract to the UK’s Department of Environmental, Food and Rural Affairs.
Since 2014, Arlene has led UCC Academy, now a 40+ strong team, overseeing the development of its varied and complementary services.
