Your Body

A healthy body creates a healthy mind and so part one of the programme starts by giving you lots of ideas on how to keep your body fit and healthy. This will help you become more aware of your body and its need for good nutrition, rest and exercise.

The idea here is that when you listen to your body and take care of it, you feel fit and healthy. When your body is fit and well, you feel more comfortable and confident in your life as a whole. You find that you tackle difficult situations and problems much better.

If our body is not taken care of, on the other hand, or if it's put under too much pressure through a poor diet and/or taking in toxins such as alcohol, caffeine, drugs; through allergens, pollution, or stress, we may be asking it to do too much. We push the limit of our ability to cope too far and, as a result, we may become unwell. So, if you want to speed up your good health and happiness, it is much easier if you are developing the habits, skills and behaviours of being fit, healthy and feeling good in your body. Step One shows you how to do this in an ongoing and enjoyable way.
