ISEE2010 will incorporate the international launch of the above publication on the evening of 30th June 2010 at UCC. Engineering Education & Sustainable Development ‘A Guide for Rapid Curriculum Renewal’ will be an invaluable publication in providing practical support for engineering educators around the world who are grappling with how programmes of study can be renewed to address emerging challenges of the 21st Century.
Published by The Natural Edge Project (an engineering for sustainable development and climate change working group based at Griffith University and the Australian National University), the Guide draws on the extensive experience and wealth of knowledge within a network of more than 40 researchers and practitioners from more 14 countries, to inform the development of a set of key elements of rapid curriculum renewal.
Co-author Cheryl Desha will be in attendance at the launch. She will also deliver a keynote address and oversee a delegate workshop at the Symposium.
