UCC YFG Condems Increase In College Registration Fees

NO to Fees

University College Cork Young Fine Gael Society called on Ógra Fianna Fáil in UCC to meet with them, for a debate regarding the cutbacks and to ask why they are not actively lobbying their politicians to ensure our futures and the future of generations to come.

Chairperson Jamie Cullinan has asked Ógra to break their silence on the issue and express their disgust at the attack on young people contained in this years Budget.

Munster Regional Council- Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest

ON Saturday 18th of Oct, the Munster Regional Council held an open debate on the issues of student fees in the Imperial Hotel. Following the meeting a great night was held as Oktoberfest got into full swing.

The MRC’s Oktoberfest was held in Counighan’s Bar where a great night of camel racing took place, where by the end of the night members were left to wonder whether they would be riding one hump or two. All in all, it was a great success.














Table Quiz

Table Quiz

UCC YFG held a very successful table quiz on the 14th of Oct in the New Bar, with efferscant John Buttimer as quiz master. A considerable crowd took part, where great fin was had and great prizes were won.

Special thanks to Cllr. John Buttimer, Cllr. Laura McGonigle , Simon Coveney TD, Deidre Clune TD, Lennox’s of Anglesea Street, Crew Cuts, Definition, Wagamama’s and the Gate Cinema who made the night a great success.

UCC YFG held there annual EGM on where new members flocked to WW6 to find out what YFG was about and to get involved in the branch and committee. Congratulations to all newly elected members of the committee and let it be a great year and one to remember.
