The MSc in Bioinformatics with Systems Biology course is now open for applications for the academic year 2012/2013.
The closing date for EU applicants is 1st June 2012, and the closing date for non-EU applicants is 1st June 2012.
Students wishing to apply for this course must do so on-line at the PAC website. You must select the course code for the MSc in Bioinformatics with Systems Biology, which is CKR33 for the full-time option or CKR41 for the part-time option.

This programme receives funding from the Government under a major initiative to meet IT skills needs identified by the Expert Group on Future Skills Needs, therefore EU Students admitted to this programme in 2012/2013 will pay a reduced annual tuition fee of &euro 2750. Non-EU students will pay an annual tuition fee of &euro 11620.

Candidates must be holders of an Honours Bachelor degree, or equivalent qualification, in a discipline with a significant element of Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Biology, with a minimum of second class honours Grade 2. However, candidates with five years or more of proven and relevant Biological or Computational experience may also be considered for places following interview and assessment by the Programme Director of the Applied Science (Bioinformatics with Systems Biology) programme and subject to the approval of the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science.
The number of places is limited and selection will be made on the candidate's performance in his/her primary degree and experience. Where relevant, candidates will have to prove their proficiency in the English language (spoken and written).

The MSc Degree is a full-time or part-time taught Masters' Degree programme running for 12 months from the date of first registration for full-time students or 24 months from the date of first registration for part-time students.
A candidate for the MSc Degree in Applied Science (Bioinformatics with Systems Biology) must register over one academic year (October-September) (for full-time students) or two years (part-time students) from the date of first registration for the programme.
