More free cases and statutes added to Bailii site
Dr John Mee of UCC Law Faculty writes:
The Irish material on the free BAILII website at www.bailii.org has been updated. Work on increasing the Irish coverage on the site is continuing at the Law Faculty, University College Cork pursuant to a grant from the Arthur Cox Foundation.
(1) Supreme Court cases
A further 30 Supreme Court cases have been added (most recent case is March 2001). The site will now have comprehensive coverage of future Supreme Court decisions.
(2) High Court cases
Another 60 High Court cases have been added (most recent case - Feb 22nd 2001) - making a total of 183 High Court cases on the site so far (this database is not yet fully comprehensive although progress is being made towards achieving this aim.)
(3) The 2000 Irish statutes
In addition to Irish statutes from 1922-1998, the site now includes the 2000 statutes (except No. 3 - the Finance Act). It is planned shortly to add the 1999 statutes (and the missing 2000 statute), as well as including the 2001 Acts on an ongoing basis.
