Tide and time waits for no lawyer. However, there are some shining beacons on the horizon to assist in safely guiding the practitioner through unchartered waters to legem terra firma Hibernia.
The list herewith contains comments and analyses of Irish law. It is a suggested first stop to the law of Ireland. However, beware, there is no substitute for researching from primary sources.
Aside from the list some very useful and current analysis on new areas in Irish law can be had from proceedings of conferences held by, inter alia, the Irish Centre for Commercial Law Studies (Faculty of Law, Roebuck Castle, University College Dublin, Dublin 4) and the Irish Centre for European Law (Faculty of Law, Trinity College, Dublin 2).
Many specialist organisations themselves produce documentation from time to time, including material from the Irish Maritime Law Association, the Copyright Society of Ireland, continuing legal education seminars of the Law Society of Ireland and continuing practice education of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
