Spring 2010: Flood News

The Mardyke Arena has reopened after the recent flood, as such the Tae Kwon Do clubs is back training with normal schedule.
Training takes place in the HALL 1 with the following timetable, all are welcome.

  • Tuesday 7.30pm - 9pm
  • Tursday 7.30pm - 9pm
  • Saturday 2pm - 4pm

Welcome

Welcome to the University College Cork TAE KWON DO Club. Feel free to browse around the site which is designed to provide readers with a wealth of information about our Club, events, the spirit of the Korean Martial Arts of Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido and much more.

If your primary focus is to learn self-defence and you want to get into great shape, then this program is for you. These classes are fast paced, and upbeat. Constantly moving, you’re going to get your heart pumping.

In this class, you’re actually learning the basics of Tae Kwon Do while getting a great whole body workout. We take the time to teach you the correct way to punch and kick so are constantly improving. It’s this constant learning and acquiring new skills that keeps you coming back. You’ll see yourself growing and consistently attaining new levels of skill and fitness.


Progressing

As you progress in your training, you will be eligible to attend the advanced level Tae Kwon Do classes. This is where you’ll start learning to actually apply what you’ve learned. This is done with partner drills and free sparring. You will continue to learn the arts of Tae Kwon Do.

So, whatever your needs, we have a program that will help you reach your goals. Give us a call or just drop by. We\222d be happy\ to see you .

Summer 2009 Class Schedule

As long as the Mardyke Arena is closed to repairing the recent flooding damage the club will training at the Lough Community Centre with the following timetable, all are welcome.

  • Wednesday 8pm - 10pm
  • Saturday 1pm - 3pm
