THE UCC PARAGLIDING CLUB WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS FOR 2009/2010 YEAR AND INVITES STUDENTS TO TAKE ACTIVE ROLE IN THE CLUB’S LIFE BY

The club mostly goes to fly paragliders at the training hill
near Macroom, about 15 miles from Cork.

Most of the paragliding activity takes place November and
March, with introductory days for beginners
on saturdays and sundays.
The club has been extablished in 1993.

The Paragliding Club would like thank Katherine Cronin
who was the president of the club for several years
and played an important role in keeping the club alive.
Katherine has now finished her PhD and left UCC for some
overseas work. We wish her a pleasant flight through her life!
