The Mathsoc Committee

Getting involved with the Mathsoc couldn't be easier. First of all we have talks or events every other week through out both terms. These events are a great place to meet students from other years. If your interested in doing more than just going to events then the Mathsoc Committee is the place for you.

The committee is elected at the AGM, held towards the end of March. All of the positions are voted for here. Everyone is welcome, especially new members. A few of the top positions (Auditor, Vice-Auditor, Treasurer and Ex-Officio) are only open to people who have been a member of a previous year's committee but that still leaves plenty of other positions. One exception is the First Year Representative. This position is elected at the first lecture of the year. For any other info just come along to one of the Mathsoc Events and ask someone who looks like they know what they're doing. Otherwise you can email uccmathsoc@gmail.com
