Sharon obtained a BSc. in Biotechnology from NUI Galway and a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Edinburgh, UK.  Following post-doctoral cancer cell cycle research at Glasgow and Oxford Universities, Sharon returned to Ireland to take up the position of Intellectual Property Coordinator at the APC. Sharon has also completed a Diploma in Innovation and Development.
