The HEEU hosts two e-mail discussion lists, which are open to anyone with access to e-mail. The IRHEEU-List is an information resource and discussion forum for those with an interest in equality issues with a focus on equality issues within the Irish third-level sector. It also includes a weekly information update from the HEEU Information Service listing recent newspaper articles of interest, recent acquisitions and upcoming events. The IRWMST-List is more specifically aimed at those who are interested or involved in Women’s Studies. Both lists are in existence since 1995.
E-mail discussion lists are an effective way of keeping people with shared interests in touch with each other. Subscribers to the two HEEU run lists find that their membership is a useful way to ensure that they have up-to-date information about relevant issues and activities or to publicise events, to invite participation in different initiatives, to raise issues or seek references or advice and so on.
If you would like to subscribe to either or both of the lists please refer to the instructions below. Once you have subscribed to a list, you will automatically receive all messages from list members and you will be able to send information, comments, requests for information, and so on, to all other list members as you would if you were sending a message to just one person.
