The UCC Nurses ball 2006 took place in Silversprings hotel. Almost 250 students, friends and faculty members attended the meal portion of the event. As always the event sold out very quickly!! A raffle open to all attending was held on the night, Alot of people went home happy with their new found gadgets and gizmos.

A special presentation was also given to 4th year student Kira Murray, kira has been part of the society since its inception and was thanked by the society for her hard work over the four years she has been member of the society.

Josephine Hegarty addressed the gathered crowd and thanked the students for their dedication throughout the year so far and for the future.

After the meal the doors were swung open and those with afters ticket joined in, just over 300 students and partners partied the night away.

A fantastic band entertained the crowd, followed by DJ, bar extension, and a party into the early hours! a fantastic time was had by all that night, but maybe not the morning after!!!!

We encourage everyone to try and get tickets for this event as this is one of the highlights of the year, those who miss out will definately be hearing hazy stories about it for the rest of the year!
