2009.09.14 - New version of the Logbook available

If you actually like the logbook and use it, you may appreciate the enhanced functionality of v1.3. Added is a "Learning Point" feature which allows you to highlight aspects of the encounter for further review later on.

2009.08.09 - New Calendars

Thanks to those nice people at Google, we have calendars for each year available online in case your dog eats your paper copy. Check out the year pages to find them. The Final Med calendar and we hope to have the other calendars up and ready before the start of term.

2009.02.22 - Excellent T/F Question Bank Resource

There is an excellent free online T/F question bank resource called MedExam.net that is applicable to any T/F medicine exam.  If the Final Meds still have an MCQ component to their final exam, it may be particularly useful.

An industrious final med student, Andrew Burkett, designed and wrote a fantastic educational online game for his final med project.  Play the game and take the survey to help him!  Be warned, you may actually learn something...

2008.10.11 - Intercalated BSc Talk is Scheduled

For anyone interested in doing an intercalated BSc, there will be an information talk with a Q&A session afterwards on November 18th at 1800 in Brookfield G06. There will be students that have done neuroscience, pathology, pharmacology, and physiology at UCC, and one that did radiological science at a UK university.

2008.09.21 - New Material Online!

For those 3rd meds doing the SSM in embryology/developmental anatomy and the 4th meds that are doing the subject as part of CP4003, original Prof Fraher notes are posted in the 3rd med download folder (accessed via the 3rd med webpage). His legendary style and flair for the spoken word will be missed by UCC medical students.

2008.08.25 -The 2008-9 Year Starts

3rd meds, 4th meds, and Final meds are back in town. The other three years still have a few weeks to enjoy the easy life.
