2. Call for Papers - IALT Conference
The Irish Association of Law Teachers will host its Annual Conference from 30 March - 1 April 2001 on the campus of Dublin City University. The theme of the Conference is:
THE PERSON IN THE LAW - COMMON LAW AND CIVIL LAW PERSPECTIVES
The aim of the theme is to discuss the law from the perspective of the individual. The individual may be any type of plaintiff or defendant, prosecutor, victim or accused. The individual is also a judge, a practitioner or an academic layer, a politician or policy maker. Rather than looking at legal principles per se, it is now the time to consider how the individual is affected by the law.
