The development of the digital age has necessitated the transformation of Irish law which, in turn, has opened up new opportunities and challenges for legal practitioners. UCC Law Faculty is hosting a seminar entitled 'E Law:  Legal Issues in the Electronic Age' which will present detailed examination of the very latest developments in the area of eLaw, including analysis of new legislation, recent case law and other relevant issues in the areas of 

  • eCommerce legislation and policy 
  • contracts and online selling 
  • data protection and monitoring of employee communications 
  • intellectual property and domain names
